Who can ID all the birds in this picture? The big one in the back might be a bit tricky. I actually wrote about it a few months ago. Click !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! if you get stumped on that one.

Super Connie, Connie, Electra, Ventura. That's all I got.

RV6 Constitution, one I’d never encountered before. Interesting design, if not mildly reminiscent of the Super Guppy.

Honestly, I’m not positive about the two smaller a/c. Maybe an Electra and an Electra Junior. Definitely a Ventura in back. The big one in the back is the RV6 Constitution.

Both double-bubble aircraft, but the Constitution was built as a double-bubble from the ground up, where the Super Guppy was a bigger bubble added to an existing C-97.

Front one certainly looks Earhardt-y.

Interesting. I’ll have to do some Googling to see what spurred the development of the Super Guppy. I watched an episode of Wings on the Discovery Channel years ago (that was some 25 years ago) but never really researched it in depth.

Read about that. Looked like the Constitution was developed with efficient cabin pressurization in mind, based on the output of the engines (more or less) utilized at the time.
